Held in 21 cities in 16 countries and online open recruitment by a coalition of 71 organizations such as world-famous VCs and major companies, the previous 2021 competition was attended by more than 3,700 startups from 92 countries around the world. The 80 companies (43% of which were startups run by female entrepreneurs) participating in the 2021 World Championship have raised a total of approximately 20 billion yen.
