Ikkei established SARR. LLC ‒Science, ART & Research for Reconstruction, in April 2011, after the Earthquake and Tsunami 3.11. He is also co-founder& CEO of Digital Platformer. co-founder& CFO of Immunorock.
Ikkei established Hokkaido VC in 2000, the first regional and independent VC in Japan. Since then, he has been involved in more than 100 start-ups, and is considered as one of the pioneers in incubation of university spin-offs.
Ikkei supports NEDO, the Japanʼs largest funding organization, in Technology Commercialization Program, and also runs startup accelerator “kizki” in Kyoto He is a member of “National Research and Development Agency Council”, an advisor to Osaka Pavilion at 2025 Osaka EXPO, a member of advisory council of Emerald, and Japan Advisory Partner of Benhamou Global Ventures.
